COTA WA today announced the appointment of Trish Langdon as its new CEO, effective from 4 January 2016.
“I am delighted to welcome Trish as our new CEO”, said COTA WA President, Judy Hogben. “She will continue the strong tradition of our organisation in promoting the needs of Western Australia’s seniors and their financ ial and social contribution to our society.”
Trish brings to the role considerable leadership and CEO experience in the community, disability, health, and mental health sectors, within both government and in the for purpose sectors.
The issues of pensions and retirement incomes, mature employment, health and wellbeing, caring, housing availability and security of tenure, along with crime and safety, are some of the issues that Trish will focus on.
Trish is excited to take on the role and looks forward to working with all sectors of our community, including government and businesses, to have the contribution of seniors better recognised and their policy issues addressed.
“I am honoured to have been appointed to the position of CEO of COTA. I have very big shoes to fill left by outgoing CEO Ken Marston but excited by the many opportunities to continue advocating and providing services for and with our seniors in Western Australia,” said Trish.
